Historical Record of ERMONT
Originally specialized in the manufacture of boiler-making equipments, ERMONT enlarged its product lines and developed road equipments. Thus, the first asphalt plants were manufactured as early as 1936.
In the years 1960, ERMONT offers a very wide range of quality equipment, which enables its expansion.
In 1961, CREUSOT-LOIRE took over ERMONT and decided to transfer their activity "Public Works Equipment" to Saint Chamond in the Loire province.
In 1987, the FAYAT French Group took over ERMONT and since then has assumed its further expansion while integrating ERMONT within its Road Bulding Equipment Division.
ERMONT is established, in a large ground of 78 000 m², in the industrial area of a little city named Lorette, located in the Rhone Alpes area, between Lyon and Saint Etienne.
