The continuous asphalt plant is the most economic and the most obvious solution for the production of hot mix asphalt.
This technology, first launched on the american market, is more recent than the batch mix technique.
The continuous process is widely used in North America and in nothern and western Europe.
ERMONT has acquired perfect mastery of the continuous technology  over the last 25 years. Thanks to its expertise, it has successfully solved the most difficult technical problems such as dust removal, drying, simultaneous coating, formulation management and also the more complex issues related to the environment (blue smoke).

Product quality and the environment 

 Control of the HMA validated by the laboratory of the Roads Department of the various countries concerned and in compliance with the European standards (ISO / DIN) and also with the American standards (USA).
Control and traceability of coatings are also continuously assured  by the automated devices and data acquisition modules.

 control of dust emission
 Dust emission does not exceed 10mg/Nm3. ERMONT offers all the necessary technologies of filtration and has developed its own equipment to be chosen according to Costumer requirements.

 control of toxic smoke
 The use of new generation of burners, and control of the drying system enable total control of the toxic smoke emissions during both the drying and coating phases. 

Production range from 50 T/h to 600 T/h

This technology is suitable whatever the output required and is particularly recommended in cases of high output of single formulation products.

 Maintenance job sites : plants of low and medium outputs as from 50 T/h, with or without peripherical storage.

 large scale motorway job sites : This solution particularly recommended for this kind of contract.

Continuous asphalt plants may be :

Continuous and batch solution are in fact complementary.
Nevertheless, the continuous solution is recommended in the following cases :
 Controlled aggregates and of constant quality whatever the output as from 10 T/h.
 A must over 350 T/h.
